$401,000.00-Bicyclist Knee and Shoulder Injuries

Ironman triathlete was hit by an uninsured motorcycle driver.  He suffered knee and shoulder injuries.  After an unreasonably low settlment offer, the bicyclist was forced to sue his own insurance company including for bad faith.  The case settled for $401,000.00 plus property damage/bicycle settlement shortly after the lawsuit was filed.  The bicyclist had to pay an attorney fee and $50,000 back to his health insurance company for past medical bills.
