15.5 Pounds Marijuana-Case Dismissed

Woman charged with felony possession with intent and felony maintaining a drug dwelling after 15.5 pounds of marijuanawere found inside a storage locker (along with grow lights, soil, bongs etc.) she rented and inside an apartment with the lease in her name.  The possession with intent charge was added after the woman exercised her right to a preliminary hearing.  At the preliminary hearing, the d.a. objected every time Attorney Griessmeyer asked questions about the circumstances of the search.  Attorney Griessmeyer filed a motion to suppress alleging that the woman's rights were violated.  Case was dismissed by the d.a. at the motion to suppress hearing.  Dane County.  October 2012.
